You will receive the kind of leadership development training that is unmatched by any other program.

How? By developing your potential in the most important of ways-mentally, physically and emotionally.
The Level 4 Award in Leadership is fully accredited by the Institute of leadership and Management, a distinct advantage for better career prospects, and has been designed for practising or potential managers looking to develop an understanding of leadership skills using practical activities.

The ILM is a London based management organisation that partners with training institutions across the world to improve leadership and management performance through its flexible range of learning and management programmes. Its Level 4 Award in Leadership is a qualification exploring different leadership styles and behaviours and their impact on individual and group behaviour, self-leadership, theories of virtuous leadership setting and communicating direction. It is particularly useful for those who do not have the opportunity to engage actively in leadership but who are preparing to do so, or for those employed in a leadership role and are keen to underpin their practice with a clearer knowledge of the principles of leadership.

This concise qualification is made up of three mandatory units.

Unit 1 : ‘Introduction to leadership’, explores different leadership styles and behaviours and their impact on individual and group behaviour.
Unit 2: Candidates plan a practical leadership activity including; identifying resources, assessing risks and briefing the team and allocating roles and responsibilities.
Unit 3 : Candidates implement their learning through leading a team through the planned, practical activity.
*Please note The National Qualifications Authority of Ireland has approved ILM qualifications for alignment with the Irish National Framework of Qualifications. Its Award in Leadership, which is designated Level 4 on the England, Wales and Northern Ireland National Qualifications Framework, is designated Level 6 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications.
